Hi Windsurfing Enthusiasts!
Here is some information about our new windsurfing program. Our brand new equipment arrived and we will have 2 medium Starboard RIOs, 1 small Starboard RIO with different rigs available (6.7, 6.0, 5.4, 4.8). We hope that we can buy more equipment next year, it depends a little on the success of the program this year.
Our windsurfing equipment will be available for the following clinics:

Jul 10/11 Silver Harbour SC (with the Mobile Sailing School)
Jul 12-16 Falcon YC (with the Mobile Sailing School)

Aug 30-Sep 3 Gimli YC (with the Mobile Sailing School)
Please promote these dates and tell people to register at our office at 925-5647. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment.
WINDSURFING COACHES CLINIC
If you would like to become a Windsurfing Coach you can register for the following clinic. We had to change the date for the technical part because our Windsurfing Instructor Evaluator couldn't make the suggested date. We will run the clinic over two weekends now, which seems to work better for most of you anyway.
NEW DATE: Technical Part on June 19/20 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at the Gimli YC
PREREQUISITES:
Fundamentals on June 26/27 from 9:00am-4:30pm at the Sport for Life Centre. Costs $100
PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operators Card), challenge exam on May 7 or June 12 at 5:00pm at the Sail Manitoba office, Costs $30
Standard First Aid and CPR on May 13 at 6:00pm at the Red Cross building on 1111 Portage Ave, Costs $80, for recerts $70
Signed Coach Code of Conduct
The cost for the clinic is $100, a windsurfing manual is included. Food and accommodation are not provided. Please sign up for the clinic asap so I can organize accordingly. Bring your own gear as we have limited resources.
