Warroad 2009 - Gull Rock Yes or No - Vote Now!
It has been suggested that we consider removing Gull Rock as a mark on the course for Warroad. Historically Gull Rock was not a mark on the course and boats had the freedom to sail different sides of the lake. Gull Rock was added later as a mark to remove the hazard of a few unmarked rocks. With the advent of GPS it has been suggested that we consider removing Gull Rock as all boats have the ability navigate safely. Lets put it it to a vote. The problem with removing Gull Rock from the course is that it is the only "gate" available to shorten the course in the event of light winds.
